Following up from their 2018 release on Colemine Records, Los Angeles Latin funk/soul/afro-rhythm/psych-rock ensemble Mestizo Beat is back with some pure upbeat afro-psych dance floor funk! The lead track Lizard Brain and the flip Midnite Nurse were recorded at their personal studio the Roadhouse/Corral in Topanga Canyon, CA and mixed at The Kitchen in San Diego by Tim Felten of Surefire Soul Ensemble. Kelly Finnegan provided tape processing for the tracks, and finally they were mastered by the legendary JJ Golden at Golden Mastering. They're guaranteed to get you out of your seat!
