This album is a mixture of the R & B, Rap and dance influence of the late 1980's to early 1990's in London England. I spent most of February to November 1986 in New York and after a few years later started on this album. The first track was Do The Jam. Do The Jam was influenced by road rage when it first raised it's ugly head. There was a shooting on a highway and that was what influenced the song. Note the Lyric 'If u get caught in a jam don't lose your calm, don't do no one no harm, keep your calm'. However it is a fun song about having fun and doing the jam so instead of losing your calm do the jam, the traffic jam. It ain't no strawberry jam this is the jam, the traffic jam.
