The A-side starts with ""Between US"", a cool, jazzy track with a tribal bongo rhythm, followed by the deep ""Hamburg 3011"", an off-beat mash up of soul, guitar and funk groove. He then delivers bang-on electro with ""Pinot Noir 1985"", combining a dope-ass beat and a warped piano loop. Next is the garage-y ""Modern Soul Classics"" with massive subs underlying Rhodes and drum cut-ups, moody and deep in his signature style. ""Merlot 1988"" is a real Icelandic bossa nova affair!"
