The first 7inch in a series of releases coming from The Toasters and Megalith Records. This series will consist of multiple 7inches that will contain brand new studio tracks on their (A) sides and EXCLUSIVE (B) side tracks that will consist of non album tracks and version remixes! These 7inches will not be released digitally and must be purchased online through CD Baby or other select retailers, including Megalith Records, JumpUp Records, Interpunk and more! The Toasters return with the first set of brand new studio tracks since 2007's 'One More Bullet'. Both tunes are solid standing Toasters songs. 'House Of Soul' takes us back to feels of 'Chuck Berry' and that cool MoTown sound! With veteran musician's on these tracks, Thad Merritt (Void Union/Westbound Train) on bass, Logan Labarbera (Royal City Riot) on trombone, Neil Johnson (Planet Smashers) on sax, Nathan Samanyagam (Naya Records) on drums, Dave Barry (Second Step/Bigger Thomas/Funk Face/etc) on keys and with Rob Hingley at the helm, the tunes fit quite snug in the Toasters repertoire. Be sure to read the rest of the credits for some family fun! Chuck Wren of JumpUp Records writes ''HOUSE OF SOUL' is the bands signature sound with bright horns and an uptempo beat, this could easily have appeared on their classic 90s albums! The flip 'GOING HOME' is a bit more traditional sounding, dare I say THE SKATALITES?' House of Soul - The Toasters, Going Home - The Toasters
