The Portland collaboration Keep Your Fork, There's Pie (KYFTP) follows up their 2010 album, Homespun with another diverse collection of songs. Ranging from the space-age funk of, Smash That Octopus to the sparsely intimate F-22, We Want You to Know continues the evolution of the Keep Your Fork sound, supporting soulful and folksy vocal harmonies with instrumentation including horns, guitars, drums, bass, a variety of keys, and, on Little Boys, the rhythm of tap dancing shoes. KYFTP returned to the site of Homespun's recording, Klickitat Band Camp (kbcrecords.com) to again work with Shay Scott, KBC owner and engineer on the recording of We Want You To Know. After completing a successful Kickstarter campaign, this collection of new music is ready to be shared.
